Santa Clarita Season 4 Updates: An American horror-comedy web television series, this is a Netflix production by Victor Fresco. The first season took off on February 3, 2017, and drove down the road with 10 episodes before being continued for another 2 seasons.

But the streaming service has opted to cancel the series, putting a closing line after its third. The zombie- comedy read an overall positive consensus from critics for its serving of ‘excellent cast’ and ‘frequent laughs’, which makes this cancellation more unapprehended.

The family falls apart as they encounter the social boundaries and cultural norms as they delve into a mythological mystery.

Some incredible names are listed as its cast members including that of Drew Barrymore as Sheila Hammond and Timothy Olyphant as Joel Hammond, Liv Hewson as Abby Hammond; their daughter, Skyler Gisendo as Eric Lewis, their neighbor with other actors in supporting roles.

Why did the show wrap -up with the 3rd season?

There has not been official news forwarded on part of Netflix’s authority, addressing the reasons for calling it off. But we do have a probable answer as to why they pulled the plug.

According to the head of Netflix’s original content creator -“When Netflix invests in something, they need to invest based on how the audience will or will not show up, if the audience isn’t interested in the show, they don’t think they have the reason to continue the show”.

Netflix might have retreated from commercializing the show for its viewership wasn’t promising enough to warrant a new season.

The third season ended on a cliffhanger with Joel passing out and Sheila biting him to save his life and there were many ways it could have a head start in its 4th.

But evaluating the earlier statement, it’s cancellation status is not to reverse anytime soon except for its fat chance to get picked up by another streaming platform and have a polished finish.
