WhatsApp is Working On A Secured Media Transfer

WhatsApp New Feature Update! WhatsApp is working on the safety of the users transferred files. WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.20.2016 is now releasing a new feature namely expiring media, in which the sender could adjust a time limit of viewing the media.

The photo or the video would automatically delete after the end of the time period. And if the recipient tries to access the data a bubble shoots up media expired. But it is still a questionable fact whether the WhatsApp notifies the sender about the taken screenshots before expiring the media. If it is so this would be comparable to Snapchat and Instagram.

This update also includes the view once option. That is if the photo video or GIF would be free to view only once. As a warning, it would shoot up on the screen “This media will disappear once you leave this chat” to the user whoever wants to leave the chat.

When would this come in to use?

As far as the release date is concerned it is not officially declared by the authorities and this feature status is under development. But according to the information, WhatsApp submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program which includes the expiring media.

The same version of the WhatsApp doesn’t show up this feature, why??

Even though if the user is using the same version WhatsApp, he or she cannot find any such feature in their phones, this is because the feature is not available as of now. But it is expected to come in use soon.

What about the iOS users??

This feature is currently only for the Android users and there is no news about the feature being updated in iOS but hopefully, iOS users may also use this feature in the future.

Well, this is in short and brief pretty cool speculations and let’s keep a keen eye on what’s gonna be next?

Now, It’s time to wait for the other half of 2020, to unleash the upcoming versions of WhatsApp not only in Android but even in iOS.
