At the end of Firefly Lane, everyone was left with many questions crossing their minds. People are confused about whether there will be Season 2 of the popular show.
Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke, stars of Firefly Lane, were answering viewers’ questions during a zoom call.
The first tweet was about asking what happened to Johnny and what Tully did. To which they replied that it is related to some family related and can’t discuss it all.
They didn’t want to ruin the suspense. The next question asked was about how long she had to wait for the next season.
To which they replied with a big announcement. In May 2021, the video had released. Whereas Firefly Lane Season 2 is likely to be released in 2022.
The first season of the series had a storyline that alternates between the past and present, following the friends through three decades of their lives.
We see them fall in and out of love, make and break careers, and deal with tragedy and heartbreak. All the while, their bond remains unbreakable.
The show is a moving and realistic portrayal of female friendships, and Heigl and Chalke both give brilliant performances.
It is definitely worth a watch. Season two will also feature some new characters. Netflix had auditioned four casting auditions.
