Emilia Clarke, actress in Game of Thrones, revealed that she suffered from a brain aneurysm which caused "quite some" of her organs to be lost.

1. Johns Hopkins Medicine Centre says it's a ballooning that occurs from abnormal focal dilation of an arterial in the brain.

This is caused by a weakening in the inner muscular layer of a blood vessel wall in the brain.

2. This disease is also known as intracranial aneurysm, brain aneurysm, or intracranial aneurysm. This "blister-like" dilation may become thinned and then rupture without warning.

3. This is life-threatening as a brain aneurysm can expand and cause blood vessel walls to become too thin.

If this happens, the blood vessels will burst and bleed into the brain space, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine Centre. This is known as a subarachnoid hemorhage, and can lead to a stroke.

4. Brain aneurysms are usually small (less than 10 mm) and have no symptoms. Some symptoms may include eye pain, vision changes, diminished eye movement, headaches, and eye pain.

On the work front, Emilia is soon to be seen in Disney Plus’ upcoming series Secret Invasion. In her cat, she also has sci-fi comedy The Pod Generation and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
