Christina Ricci is an American actress who began her acting career appearing in commercials and on television.

She made her film debut in Mermaids (1990), and later starred in films such as The Addams Family (1991), Casper (1995), and The Ice Storm (1997).

Ricci has also appeared in independent films such as Buffalo ‘66 (1998) and The Opposite of Sex (1998), for which she received critical acclaim.

In recent years, Ricci has starred in the television series Pan Am (2011–2012) and has guest–starred on Grey‘s Anatomy (2013)

She is best known for her role as Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family movies and has also appeared in Casper, The Ice Storm, and Sleepy Hollow.

Ricci began her acting career at the age of eight, appearing in a commercial for McDonald‘s.

She made her film debut in 1990‘s Mermaids and went on to star in several more films throughout the early 1990s.

In 1994, she landed the role of Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and reprised the role in the sequel, Addams Family Values.
