Titans Season 3 Updates: The sequel to Titans is finally here. The release date has been formalized this week, it is next August that HBO Max will begin the broadcast of season 3. And if we trust the first trailer, the new episodes will be as intense as they are exciting.

The return date of Titans is finally known. After having been postponed many times, the fault of the Covid-19 epidemic which upset production, season 3 of the super-heroic series will therefore be broadcast from August 12, 2021, on HBO Max in the USA (and a few weeks/months later in France, possibly on Netflix).
Titans Season 3: The Joker is heard in the trailer
And in order to celebrate this officialization, it is the first trailer that was also unveiled. A very important gift, as the video in question, gives us a fascinating insight into the new stories and developments to come this year. You can find out in our slideshow, we will be spoiled with a plot that will take place in the most cult of all cities: Gotham.
In the program? While Dick Grayson will officially be Nightwing, we can also see that Jason Todd – who recently left the team, will totally embrace his destiny as Red Hood. A little surprise since, in the comics, he slipped into this iconic costume after being killed by the Joker. What to expect from a rewrite of the myth? Maybe yes, maybe no.
It is the big surprise of this teaser, the presence of the Joker in Titans Season 3 could indeed be one of the events of the year. Between the staging of his horrible smile brought on by his poison inflicted on an innocent man and his laughter in the background, there’s no doubt that the famous villain will play a role in the sequel. And Dick’s line, “This is Gotham. People are dying here. People like us,” clearly leads us to believe that some heroes – including Jason, might die.
Newcomers reveal themselves
Note that EW has for its part unveiled a first glimpse of the new characters. In fact, we find the actor Vincent Kartheiser as Jonathan Crane aka L’Épouvantail, as well as Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon. Yes, this Titans Season 3 promises to be epic!
