Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba recently concluded its prolific manga run with just over 200 pages, but that doesn’t mean the anime can follow suit.
The Entertainment District Arc, which season two will adapt, ends around the 100th chapter of the manga, implying that we are just halfway through the plot and that a third and, at the very least, a fourth season will be needed to complete the plot (with possibly another movie or two featured along the way).
Season two of Demon Slayer will undoubtedly not end the plot, but that does not preclude subsequent seasons from being produced. The anime is likely to maintain its current degree of popularity, but nothing beyond a second season has been publicly verified as of yet.
