Netflix has already renewed the show ‘Shadow and bone’ for a second season, so here we know that season one wasn’t the end of the story. Let’s what can we expect from this brand new season and when will it get released.
The show was adapted for Tv by Eric Heisserer, and then it is based on Grishaverse books by Leigh Bardugo. The plot of the show is set in a world broken by the war-torn and is scarred by the great darkness called ‘Shadow fold’. Crossing the shadow fold isn’t the smartest idea due to the monsters swarming inside it. Though, Alina Starkov arrises in this darkness with a chance to destroy in the form of a humble mapmaker. Alina discovers that she is the Sun Summoner- a powerful Grisha with the ability to summon light.
Having been with an overwhelming response for season one, makes us hope for the second season. It would not be wrong to call the show a young adult fantasy hit.

Even though Shadow and Bones have not been officially announced, What’s on Netflix reports show that the show already has been renewed behind the scenes. The show has heavy investment and the positive critics’ response bodes well. It shows that Netflix is invested in the show.

Some shows have a fast turnaround, but shows like Shadow and Bone, with a lavish budget, seem to take a little longer time between the seasons. If the show is actually renewed for another season, the show already must be under its production process. As of now, we don’t have any official dates.
