The official Trailer for Netflix’s new football drama The Beautiful Game has been released. The series shows the fictional story of England’s homeless football team competing in the Homeless World Cup in Rome.

The Beautiful Game, made with the help of the Homeless World Cup, is a film about second chances, in which homeless teams from all over the world discover that all roads take them to Rome while everything is up for grabs.

The Trailer leads us to striker Vinny (Ward) & manager Mal (Nighy), with an early scene in which the latter watches the former perform a prominent penalty kick and remarks that it “had swagger.”

We then hear Vinny declare in voiceover, “I was a professional… Vinny Walker, history in the making,” as Mal adds that he was once a pro but has since been staying in his car for months.

The rest of the Trailer shows Mal recruiting Vinny for England’s homeless team, despite his initial unwillingness to be defined as homeless, before the big journey to Rome for the tournament, with Vinny stunned upon arrival.

The intriguing Trailer also promises a few conflicts between Vinny and some of his peers, plenty of motivational words from Mal, and cameos by other familiar faces.

The trailer is set against a background of rolling green hills near the sea, with a woman fighting the urge to see “the one who got away” marry her closest friend. Maddie Lohan has flown to Europe and is now in Ireland, where she watches her best friend Emma marry Paul, a love affair from years ago.

Maddie, now a bridesmaid at the wedding and with no way to boost her mental health, makes a last-ditch wish for true love. Surprisingly, her dream comes true as she switches lives with her best friend and sets up to marry her man.

As if that wasn’t enough, as the big day gets closer, Maddie realizes her true love might be someone else entirely.

There are also a few new faces in the ranks. Julian Barrett stars as George, Jen’s power trainer at the Discovery Clinic. At the same time, Rosa Robson (Buffering) plays Nora, a character from Jizzlord’s past, & Kwaku Mills plays Clark, Carrie’s exciting colleague.

Disney has also indicated that Sir Derek Jacobi will appear in Extraordinary Season 2. He will have a particular cameo part in the series, the details of which have yet to be revealed.

Extraordinary Season 2 is set to premiere on Disney Plus on Wednesday, March 6.

Academy Award winner Regina King is to bring this political lead to life. Lance Reddick, who played Wesley MacDonald “Mac” Holder in John Wick, will play Chisholm’s iconic campaign manager in Shirley.

Terrence Howard, who starred in Hustle & Flow, will also play Arthur Hardwick, Jr., a politician who worked with Chisholm in the New York State Legislature & ultimately married her. Michael Cherrie plays Chisholm’s first spouse, Conrad Chisholm.

Christina Jackson plays Barbara Lee, Dorian Missick is Ron Dellums, Amirah Vann is Diahann Carrol, W. Earl Brown is George Wallace, Brad James is Huey P. Newton, and André Holland is Walter Fauntroy. Regina King’s sister, Reina King, will play Chisholm’s sister, Muriel St. Hill.

Shirley will be available on Netflix on March 22, 2024.

Young Royals Forever: BTS Special Will Release Alongside the Finale Episode!

Young Royals, a Swedish teenager drama series, will air its third and last season. The Netflix production got positive feedback from viewers and critics. People who loved the show are devastated that it is ending.

On the positive side, the OTT platform releases a Young Royals documentary with the season finale. The Young Royals series finale will be dropped on March 18, 2024. Furthermore, Young Royals: Forever will be issued on the same day.

The documentary will take a behind-the-scenes look at Young Royals season 3. In the project clip, the cast members discuss the ending of their favorite program.

The documentary, which is described as “Behind the Scenes of Young Royals,” will show how the series’ actors and crew brought to life the heartwarming story of Wilhelm  & Simon.

In the clip, Omar Rudberg jokes, “I believe we could release a Young Royals movie in five years.” “Or in two years.” Edvin Ryding adds: “A Young Royals class reunion.” Ryding portrays Prince Wilhelm “Wille” of Sweden, while Rudberg portrays Simon Eriksson.

Young Royals’ first two seasons mainly focused on Simon & Prince Wilhelm of Sweden’s hidden relationship. In season three, “Wilhelm’s speech has effects not just in the court but also within the school, as Hillerska faces the biggest crisis in the school’s history,” according to the official description.

“The prince and Simon will do anything to be together, but how much are they willing to give up when realizing their love and independence might be at odds against the Royal ideals, customs, and responsibilities?”

The upcoming third season of Young Royals promises a reunion of the beloved main cast in their classic roles.

Edvin Ryding will return as Prince Wilhelm, with Omar Rudberg reprising the role as Simon Eriksson. Malte Gårdinger portrays August Horn of Årnäs. Frida Argento will reprise her role as Sara Eriksson alongside Nikita Uggla, who will play Felice Ehrencrona.

Other cast members are Pernilla August as Queen Kristina of Sweden, Inti Zamora Sobrado as Ayub,  Magnus Roosmann as Duke Ludvig, Carmen Gloria Pérez as Linda, Beri Gerwise as Rosh, & Ivar Forsling as Prince Erik.
