Breaking News: Tehran Season 3 is renewed with heartthrob Hugh Laurie added to the cast! Hugh Laurie fans this side! Apple TV+ has renewed ‘Tehran’ for a third season in which he will be joining the cast as Eric Peterson, a South African nuclear inspector.
What is “Tehran” All About?
The story of ‘Tehran’ follows Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity. She went rogue towards the end of the second season and in the third season, she is still struggling from the loss of her closest friends – Tamar must find a way to reinvent herself and win back Mossad’s support if she wants to survive.
Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi return to reprise their roles as Faraz and Nahid, respectively whilst Sasson Gabai, Bahar Pars and Phoenix Raei are fresh faces added to the series cast – in addition to Hugh Laurie of course.

Tehran Season 3 Expected Release Date.
‘Tehran’ debuted back in 2020 whilst the second season came in 2022. It only makes sense that the 3rd season would arrive sometime in 2024.
The producing crew includes Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, and Maor Kohn being the creators whilst Daniel Syrkin serves as the director and co-creator.
From the first couple of seasons, it’s quite obvious that ‘Tehran’ is a non-stop thrill ride that has fans hooked and engrossed.
Morgan Wandell, the head of international programming at Apple TV+ mentioned that fans in general, can’t wait for another heart-pounding season from Dana, Shula, Tony, and the rest of the creative team of ‘Tehran’.
