Spoiler Alert! The first episode starts right where the final episode of season 19th ended. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) who collapsed in the final episode of season 19 is dealing with a severe health crisis and fighting for his life, she is finally saved after getting a valve replacement and surgery to get rid of blood clots in her legs.

Owen Hunt who is Teddy’s husband is sad and has regrets, and while he is talking to Amelia Shepherd, Teddy gains her consciousness and asks what happened.

Meanwhile, Meredith is still concerned about the decade-long Alzheimer’s research which he considers inaccurate, but he asks Amelia to keep investigating the research.

A hot question that would cross all the fan’s minds is what is Teddy going to do after her recovery? Well, Kevin McKidd recently had an interview with People and told what is going to happen, he believes as soon as Teddy recovers, she will be back to work with full focus and attention.

On the other hand, Owen is still in shock after seeing his wife go lifeless on the floor, he will be having nightmares and is facing PTSD, and all these series of events will create differences between the couple.

Deep inside they both miss each other, but the emotional wall from so many stressful events has separated the two. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the differences in future episodes.
