House of Ninjas Season 2 Renewal Status and Storyline!

House of Ninjas has already made its make with a 7.3 Rating on IMDb and 7.9 Ratings on MyDramaList so we can assume there will be Season 2 but when? Let’s find out the details you need to know about the Netflix Series!

After a hit home season on Netflix, ‘House of  Ninjas’ also known as Shinobi no Ie: House of Ninjas is a grappling Japanese original series blending family drama with secret drops of thriller elements.

Directed by Dave Boyle, the first season of ‘House of Ninjas’ was a hit on Netflix and we loved it but a renewal for season 2 is still pending.

The first season garnered a whopping 8.7 million views in its first couple of weeks, hinting at a rather strong probability that a second season may return. If renewed, we could expect the second season to be released sometime in late 2025 or early 2026.

What Is the House of Ninjas All About?

As you know, the series is directed by Dave Boyle and follows the Tawara family, the last remnants of a ninja clan forced to face their past, amidst a national crisis.

Season 2 is expected to delve deeper into the aftermath of Gaku’s betrayal as he sides with the enemy against his family. The conflict between Haku’s no-kill policy and the desperate requirement to stop Gaku is expected to escalate with the Tawara family facing their toughest challenges.

Kento Kaku plays the role of Haru Tawara, while Yosuke Eguichi and Tae Kimura play his parents Soichi and Yoko Tawara. Tenta Banka and Aju Makita play Haru’s siblings, Riku and Nagi Tawara whilst Kengo Kora plays the role of Gaku Tawara. Haru’s love interest is played by Riho Yoshioka who takes on the role of Karen Ito.

The series’ first season started filming in September 2023 and ended in January 2024 with a quick post-production process.

If it is decided to be renewed for a second season, chances are the production would start within 12 months of the news of renewal which could lead to a quick release drop. Keep your fingers crossed!
