All About Parasyte: The Grey Live-Action.

Parasyte: The Grey Live-Action series is adapted from the legendary manga “Parasyte” by Japanese Manga Artist Hitoshi Iwaaki. He has previously written some famous manga like Historie, which has also been adapted into an anime series.

As you might have already noticed this series is directed by an acclaimed director of this genre containing the regime of zombies and blood-thirsty monsters, Yeon Sang-ho.

The director of the famous “Train to Busan”, he has also directed “Hellbound” earlier for Netflix. So certainly, we can expect a lot of surrealism in this series too.

On-screen, we will see Jeon So-nee, who will play the protagonist Su-in. She is said to coexist with the parasite.

We also have Koo Kyo-hwan who will play Kang-woo as he fights the parasite to find his sister.

Lee Jung-Hyun plays Jun-Kyung who is the leader of our heroic “Team Grey”.

Kwon Hae-hyo plays Chul-min, the detective protecting Su-in, and Kim In-kwon plays Won-seok.

As many of you might have this question already, is it linked to the Oscar-winning movie “Parasite”? “Parasite” is a 2019 Korean movie that won the Oscar for best picture along with two more Oscars for Best Directing and Best International Feature.

This movie is not linked with the web series we are talking about. Both have the same name but should not be confused with each other as their plots are different.
