The upcoming German crime/thriller series has arrived on Netflix. Crooks is the title of a dark drama series created by screenwriters Benjamin Hessler, Marvin Kren, & Georg Lippert and directed by Cüneyt Kaya and Marvin Kren.
Set in Berlin & the Bavarian area, the story follows a family man whose history returns to haunt him and his family. But what else do we know about Crooks, and when will it premiere on Netflix? Let us find out.

The series Crooks is filled with fantastic action sequences and plenty of gunshots. It’s no surprise that action fans are excited to watch the latest Netflix series. The trailer seems intriguing, and the actors’ performances are equally impressive!
The series is about a breathtaking heist that takes place in Berlin. It follows Charly, a former thief who falls into problems when his past creeps on him and ruins his calm life in Berlin. Charly must steal a valuable coin after jeopardizing his family’s safety.
The coin Charly must take pits him against another Berlin heist crew, a Serbian gang, a Vienna prostitute, the Marseille mafia, and a mystery master thief. Everyone has reasons for taking the coin, and everyone is driven to carry out the heist, which appears to be a matter of life or death for everyone.
With so many groups fighting for the unique coin, the rivalry is far from simple. The twist begins as they all work to steer clear of each other. The last one standing gets to keep the coin.
The Crooks trailer shows that each gang has a unique plan to steal the coin, showing their methods. The coin is in Berlin, while the gangs come from Vienna, Marseille, & Berlin. So, the pursuit takes place all through Europe.

Frederick Lau portrays Charly. The actor has yet to appear in a Netflix Original but is most recognized for his roles in Victoria, The Wave, & Heart of Stone.
Christopher F. Krutzler takes on the role of Joseph.
Svenja Jung plays an unspecified role. The actress plays Louis in the famous German Netflix show The Empress.
Kida Khodr Ramadan plays an unspecified part. The actor has yet to appear in a Netflix Original and is best recognized for his performance as Momo in the movie Man from Beirut.
Klara Mucci plays the part of Alina Lonescu. Another cast member getting their Netflix debut in Crooks is the actress who rose to prominence in the Croatian show Metropolitanci.
