Hayley Atwell, famous for portraying Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Grace in the latest Mission: Impossible film, will be joining the cast in Season 3.
Atwell has previously appeared in Netflix’s Criminal: United Kingdom and an episode of Black Mirror’s second season. Notably, she is set to lead the upcoming Netflix animated series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, where she will play the role of Lara Croft.

Hayley Atwell Joins ‘Heartstopper’ Season 3 As Diane
Hayley Atwell is set to appear in the Heartstopper Season 3. It seems she will be playing the character Diane.
After checking fan pages for the Heartstopper series, we couldn’t find any information about this character. However, a dedicated fan account later informed us that Diane is Nick’s aunt in the comics.
Another key cast member for the third season is Darragh Hand. The production for this season has already been completed, spanning from October 2023 to December 2023.
Notably, there is a change behind the scenes as Andy Newbery takes over as the director for all episodes, replacing Euros Lyn, who directed all episodes in the first two seasons.
The only other news we’ve received about Heartstopper this year is that Netflix officially confirmed on February 1, 2024, that the third season will be released sometime in 2024. This announcement was made as part of Netflix’s unveiling of over 90 shows set to premiere or return throughout the year.

Hayley Elizabeth Atwell, born on April 5, 1982, is a well-known and famous British and American actress. She became well-known for her performances in theater shows in London.
Later, she gained fame for her roles in movies like Brideshead Revisited (2008) and The Duchess (2008), both set in historical periods. She was also in a TV series called The Pillars of the Earth in 2010.
She was nominated for awards for her acting in these films. Atwell became widely recognized for playing Agent Peggy Carter in Marvel movies, starting with Captain America: The First Avenger (2011).
This led to the creation of a TV series named Agent Carter (2015–2016). Her portrayal of Peggy Carter earned her a nomination for a Saturn Award in the category of Best Actress on Television.

Heartstopper is a TV series that follows the story of Nick and Charlie as they navigate through their teenage years, exploring their growing romantic relationship along with the challenges of school and life.
The first season premiered in April 2022, and it became so popular that Netflix decided to make two more seasons.
They started filming season 2 in September 2022 and finished in December 2022. Based on this pattern, fans could anticipate the release of season 3 around late summer or early fall of 2024. But, it’s important to note that there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet.
