Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Good News For Hot Wheels Lovers Netflix Release Date

Mattel Television has officially announced that Hot Wheels Let’s Race, a new animated children’s series, will premiere on Netflix in Spring 2024.

The 3DCG series, based on Mattel’s Hot Wheels franchise, features out-of-this-world vehicles, daring characters, and high-octane racing and promises “a fast-paced comedy thrilling ride for the whole family.”

When Will Hot Wheels Let’s Race Be Released?

Mattel and Netflix announced recently that Hot Wheels Let’s Race, Mattel Television Studios’ all-new animated children’s series, will premiere on Netflix worldwide on March 4 of this year.

Storyline of Hot Wheels Let’s Race

The series is a thrilling comedy show based on the renowned Hot Wheels toy brand. It follows the latest generation of racers, Coop, Spark, Mac, Brights, Axle, & Sidecar, as they attend a racing camp where the pedal is always to the metal. The series first looks at several featured cars, such as the GT Scorcher, Baja Jump Truck, and Velociraptor.

The series, which includes mind-blowing races, daring stunt contests, and adrenaline-pumping challenges, can be enjoyed by children and their families.

In September 2023, we got the official logline for a new series written and produced through Mattel Television.

“Hot Wheels Let’s Race is an action-packed series, based on the world’s best-selling toy, that ignites the competitive spirit of every racer! The show follows a new generation of racers as they compete in thrilling races, daring stunts, and high-octane challenges.”

The recently released official trailer features Fall Out Boy’s main vocalist and award-winning artist, Patrick Stump, performing the show’s theme song. Stump wrote, recorded, and produced the title track for “Hot Wheels Let’s Race” and composed the soundtrack, underscore, and music sequences for all episodes.

Hot Wheels Let’s Race was created for television by Melanie Shannon, Senior Manager of Creative Content at Mattel Television Studios (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe), Rob David, Vice President of Content Creative at Mattel Television Studios (Masters of the Universe: Revolution, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Jordan Gershowitz (Sharkdog).

The Executive Producers are Rob David, Christopher Keenan (Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go), and Fred Soulie (Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge), alongside Mike Roberts (Final Space) as Creative Producer & Diane A. Crea (Barbie: Epic Road Trip) serves as Senior Producer. Sprite Animation Studios & OLM Digital provide animated services to Hot Wheels: Let’s Race.
