XO Kitty Season 2 Will Begin Filming In April 2024!

After the highly anticipated release of XO, Kitty Season 1, viewers were left on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating the next part of Kitty Song Covey’s adventure.

The To All The Boys spinoff show, released on Netflix on May 18, 2023, sent us on a roller coaster of emotions as Kitty started a new journey in South Korea. Let’s take a look at what happened in Season 1 of XO Kitty and what we can expect in Season 2.

When Will XO Kitty Season 2 Be Released?

The upcoming season will be shot for three months in South Korea between April and June of 2024. However, official dates are still pending.

The Cast and Crew of Season 2.

First up, we have a new series regular named Sophie, described as a young Korean-American girl from Ohio. Sophie is a last-minute addition to an exchange program within her Korean church.

Mr. Choi, a large talent manager supporting a new arts program at K.I.S.S, will be another series regular in season 2. He is described as gorgeous but also a charismatic narcissist who is undoubtedly a ladies’ man.

Finally, we have a recurrent guest character for the final season named Young, who was fighting for the captain of the track team in season 2. He’s inherently competitive, described as Queer, and a significant rival to one of our main characters.

Anna Cathcart reprises her role as Kitty, while Minyeong Choi, Anthony Keyvan, Peter Thurnwald, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee,  & Regan Aliyah do as well. Sascha G. Rothchild & Jennifer K Han continue their roles as showrunners.

The Storyline of Season 2.

The dramatic ending of the season 1 finale created multiple stories for season 2 of XO, Kitty. The first season concluded with Kitty boarding a plane and reading a long-lost note from her mother, Eve, who disclosed that her first love was Simon.

To Kitty’s astonishment, Min Ho was sitting right next to her on the plane, and he confessed to having feelings for her, which confused her.

Following the discoveries in the season 1 finale, XO, Kitty season 2 might center on Kitty’s hunt for Simon to learn more about her mother’s background. The fact that one of Dae’s best friends has fallen in love with Kitty will undoubtedly cause all kinds of problems between the three, further straining Kitty’s relationship with Dae.

Kitty is still in love with Yuri, while she is also in love with Juliana. Therefore, the storyline will likely continue developing in XO, Kitty season 2.
