Ma Dong-Seok and his legendary arms appear in Badland Hunters, a new Korean-language action film from Netflix.
The streamer recently released the film’s trailer, only days after unveiling a hyper-violent teaser where a crocodile gets hit in the nose. The latest clip shows lots of action from the movie and its star’s dominant screen presence.

Don Lee fights for survival in the action-packed ‘Badland Hunters trailer.
The Badland Hunters trailer takes place in a post-apocalyptic world after a catastrophic earthquake shatters the spine of Seoul. The city was also plagued with a special kind of undead people called zombies. The survivors have little hope except for a legendary doctor who survived the earthquake.
However, a dystopian Seoul is always complex, with groups of survivors creating chaos, the undead targeting in hordes, and secrets coming to light.
Don Lee, whose real name is Ma Dong Seok, is an entertaining treat in the trailer. In the film, he is a one-person tank, maintaining his stoic armor with occasional dark punchlines that will make you chuckle ruefully while Lee shatters walls, bones, and heads. But Don Lee, who plays Nam San in the film, isn’t doing it for amusement or to be the more rugged dude of the Seoul wasteland.
All he wants is survival for himself and his rough group of survivors. But to do so, he must face a large army of zombies to find Doctor Yang Gi Su, who isn’t as pleasant as he seems.

He has kept a young teen prisoner with him, testing and torturing her for his benefit. Though the trailer features Don Lee’s big shoulders and brute-strength visuals, it is unclear whether he or the others will make it to the end.
Since there is no mention of a cure or a haven in the trailer, one has to assume that the doctor is not tainting his soul in vain with his experiments and will have everything ready for Nam San & his team to expel from his place of habitation, after disposing of him!
