The Way Home Season 2 is all set to be released on Hallmark in January 2024, and here are the details you need to know about the series.

The time-travel drama that stars Andie MacDowell (Cedar Cove), Chyler Leigh (Grey’s Anatomy, Supergirl), and Sadie Laflamme-Snow follows the beautiful journey of three amazing generations of strong-willed and independent Landry women – Del, the family’s matriarch; Kat, her daughter who’s dearly beloved but estranged and Alice, Del’s granddaughter.

The Storyline of the The Way Home Season 2.

Season 2 of The Way Home will start from where it left off – the events of the debut season’s finale which ended with a ton load of surprises.

The freshman ending revealed that Kat and Alice were jointly responsible for Colton’s death. They traveled back through time to the past to rewrite and change history but Colton swerved to avoid hitting both the Landry women on the road – dying as a result of the devastating accident.

Previous to this, and in the same episode, Kat finally came to terms with the fact that the reason her mother believed in her husband cheating was herself (Kat). It turns out, Kat was the woman that Del had seen at his funeral.

On the romance front, Kat’s childhood sweetheart Elliott admitted that he loved her after she mentioned that she finally signed divorce papers.  However, things turned out to be a tad bit more complicated than Kat had expected. Elliot had revealed that he was willing to change and start things afresh with Kat by his side.

In the second season, we can see that the debut season left off with Kat telling Del that she knows what had happened to Jacob. With the last questions raised, there’s enough place to raise new questions and more mysteries.
