Unfortunately, there won’t be a Season 2 of Migi & Dali. The anime covered the entire story from the manga, which had 44 chapters.
Some people might hope that the manga’s creator, Nami Sano, would make a sequel, but she passed away at 36 on August 5, 2023, after fighting cancer for a month.
Nami Sano was also known for creating the popular series Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto. She got to see the anime adaptation of that series before she passed, but she didn’t live to see the Migi & Dali anime, which aired in October 2023.
It’s even sadder because Nami Sano was planning a new manga, but she couldn’t finish it, and neither could her fans see it.

In the 13th episode of “Migi & Dali” called “Migi and Dali,” something big happened. Dali chose to hide himself while Migi pretended to be someone named Hitori. Dali did this because he got hurt during an incident involving the Ichijou family.
He didn’t want to keep acting as Hitori anymore. However, one scary dream on Christmas Eve made him realize that his decision was a mistake.
The next morning, the Sonoyama family put two gifts under the Christmas tree, showing that they knew Hitori was two people.
So, Migi and Dali decided to reveal themselves to their new parents. The Sonoyamas accepted them happily as their twin sons, Migi and Dali.
Later in the story, there was a time jump that showed what happened after Eiji left the juvenile home. The three agreed-upon triplets shared a cherry pie.
Then, Migi and Dali took Eiji to their mother’s grave. At the end of the anime, Dali went to another city for studies, while Migi stayed in Origon village to become an artist. Even though they were apart, they believed that their feelings and bond would always keep them connected.
