Shocking! Parasite Actor Lee Sun Kyun Found Dead in Seoul.

In one of the most shocking news of the year, popular South Korean actor Lee Sun- Kyun has been found dead.

In the year 2019, Parasite was one of the most talked about movies around the globe, the comedy thriller became one of the highest-rated movies ever, it has an 8.5/10 rating on IMDB, and 99% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie did a business of over 260 million dollars and went on to win Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards aka Oscars, the movie also bagged the Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film awards, the movie also won the Palme d’Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

After the success of Parasite, Lee Sun- Kyun who was already a big star in the South Korean film industry became even more popular. He did four more movies after Parasite which include Kingmaker, Sleep Killing Romance, and Project Silence.

His career took a backseat when he was investigated by police officials regarding the illegal use of marijuana and other drugs, this took a toll on his image in public, and he was dropped from several projects and this forced him to slip into depression.

On Wednesday, Lee Sun Kyun was found dead in his car which was parked at central Seoul’s Waryong Park.

Prominent media outlets in Korea reported that Lee’s wife informed police when he left the house after writing a note that was supposedly a suicide note. Lee has been married to actress Jeon Hye-jin since 2009 and they share two kids.

Reportedly Lee’s family has denied an autopsy but the investigation is already underway. Lee was under complete scrutiny after the allegations of drug use by a hostess in a bar, he was even tested for drug use and the results were negative.

Since the news of Lee’s death has surfaced on social media, netizens are infuriated over how he was getting treated by police officials after the drug use allegations.
