Who Will Star in The Kitchen?

Kane Robinson, better known as Kano, is a rapper, musician, and actor who plays Izi in The Kitchen. He is most known for the songs London Town & Boys Love Girls and his role as Sully in the television series Top Boy.

The Kitchen stars newbie Jedaiah Bannerman as 12-year-old Benji, Blue Story’s Hope Ikpoku Jr, YouTuber Teija Kabs, and rappers Backroad Gee and Cristale.

The Kitchen is created by Daniel Kaluuya. In Judas and the Black Messiah, he played Fred Hampton; in Black Panther, he played W’Kabi. He played Chris Washington in the popular films Get Out and Nope and Queen & Slim, Babylon, Skins, Black Mirror, and Psychoville.

The Kitchen, set in 2040, follows ex-convict Izi as he tries to separate himself from his past crime in London. With rising housing prices & the automation of labor jobs, many people are looking for more economical living arrangements.

On top of that, the welfare system and social housing programs have been eliminated, forcing even more individuals to turn to desperate ways to keep a roof over their heads and a meal on the table.

By this point, many people had been forced to relocate to “The Kitchen,” the final remaining shared housing area, and They were reluctant to leave their homes.

Izi stays in The Kitchen and is determined to escape from the criminal life, but he finds himself in a difficult situation when his young kid becomes critically ill. Teaching Benji how to survive in the Kitchen, where police raids and internal violence are common, is difficult.

Nonetheless, the two separated family members try to stay alive while fixing their ties and making up for the time they were distant.

Izi will go to any length to save his ill son’s life. The only way he can save his son’s life is to take on one more job, a crime that could impact the lives of everyone in The Kitchen, as well as the corrupt billionaires who run the city.
