Top 10 Films Like Animated Disney Movie Wish!

The upcoming American animated musical fantasy film ‘Wish’ is about a seventeen-year-old girl named Asha who senses a darkness in the kingdom of Rosas which nobody else can sense and makes a passionate wish to the stars.

Ariana DeBose will give voice to the character of Asha in the movie. It is set to be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on November 22, 2023.

Carlos López Estrada and Don Hall directed the American computer-animated fantasy action adventure movie the plot of which revolves around a warrior named Raya who embarks upon a journey of tracking down a dragon called Sisu that once transferred all her power into a magical gem, now scattered all over Kumandra kingdom causing the people to become divided.

Kelly Marie Tran gave voice to the character of Raya in the series. The movie was nominated for Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It was released in the United States on March 5, 2021.

Frozen II (2019)-

Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck directed this American computer-animated musical fantasy movie that is the sequel to the 2013 movie ‘Frozen‘.

The plot is set three years after that of the previous film and finds Elsa as the queen of Arendelle and everything is in peace. But as Elsa continues to hear some mysterious voice calling her, she and Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf following her, set off on a journey that takes them to the origin of the magical power that Elsa possesses.

Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell reprised their voice roles of Elsa and Anna respectively in the movie. It was released in the United States on November 22, 2019.

Encanto (2021)-

Byron Howard and Jared Bush directed the computer-animated fantasy comedy movie. The plot revolves around the extraordinary family of the Madrigals all of the members of which are blessed with unique magical gifts except Mirabel.

But when an unforeseen danger approaches and endangers all the magic of Encanto, the charmed place where the family lives, Mirabel turns out to be the one who is their last hope. Stephanie Beatriz gave voice to the character of Mirabel in the movie.

It was nominated for Academy Award for Best Animated Feature along with two other Academy Awards. The movie was released in the United States on November 24, 2021.

Brave (2012)-

Brenda Chapman and Mark Andrews directed this computer-animated fantasy movie The plot follows the courageous and impetuous princess Merida angering the lords following her defiance of an age-old tradition.

After she wishes to be an eccentric witch for the transformation of her strict mother into a more flexible one, she finds herself and her family in a very hostile situation which she has to overcome with courage and her newfound meaning of family.

Kelly Macdonald was cast as the voice actress for Merida in the movie. It won Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. The movie premiered at Seattle International Film Festival on June 10, 2012, and was released in the United States on 22nd June that year.

Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)-

Phil Johnston and Rich Moore director this computer-animated comedy movie that is the sequel to ‘Wreck-It Ralph (2012).

The plot revolves around Ralph and Vanellope, his best friend, who reach inside the world of the Internet through a Wi-Fi router to save the game – Sugar Rush and face several wonders and challenges there. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman gave voice to Ralph and Vanellope in the movie. It was released in the United States on November 21, 2018. This animated musical history drama film is a romanticized approach to the encounter of Powhatan woman Pocahontas with John Smith who began her association with the colonial settlement at Jamestown, Virginia.
