In this episode, Rose joined 664 and 665 on a mission to spy on someone called Perv Asshat in the Oriana kingdom.
They encountered another member, 559, with the same task. While watching the First Children at Fort First, they saw Kouadoi, a leader of a cult.
Rose’s mother, Reina, appeared and summoned something important using her blood. When 559 attacked Reina, Rose defended her, but this act made Rose a traitor to the Shadow Garden.
Meanwhile, Cid pondered over Rose’s potential to become a tyrant while enjoying a milkshake at Marie’s restaurant.
He wanted to help her, believing she desired to be a monstrous ruler after mistakenly thinking she deliberately killed her father.
In Oriana, Perv Asshat ruled tyrannically, causing financial hardship for people like Marie. Cid helped Marie by dealing with the soldiers extorting money.
The team fought Kouadoi for three days until they were exhausted, but Shadow arrived and revived them. After defeating Kouadoi, 559 told Shadow that Rose planned to marry Perv Asshat, causing Shadow’s fury. Cid decided to confront Rose about her decision.

The title of The Eminence in Shadow season 2 episode 10 is “Kago no Tori” (Japanese: 籠の鳥), meaning “Caged Bird,” suggesting Rose Oriana’s current situation.
Rose is in a difficult position as she’s now a valuable asset for the Cult and unable to protect her family and kingdom from potential harm.
The upcoming episode teased through two promotional clips, will show Cid heading to the Oriana palace to confront Rose. Epsilon and other members of the Numbered Shadow Garden will accompany him on this new mission.
