The Lowe-duo comedy series debuted with a slow start but managed to hit the top 10s which made fans and of course, the creators, reportedly eyeing for a Unstable Season 2 green light. However, are things still looking green?
Unstable Season 2 Renewal Status
Although Netflix’s official status says ‘Pending’ as of April 4, 2023, I think It’s safe to mention that chances aren’t looking quite ripe.
The statistics show that ‘Unstable’ is reportedly unlikely to return but managed to feature in the global top 10 for a single week before disappearing into the depths of darkness – but that doesn’t mean that their ‘WIP’ status for the second season wasn’t underway.

What Can We Expect from Unstable Season 2?
The ending of the debut season certainly included some key moments that could weave a plot for the beginning of a second season – for instance:

After Jean’s deception and the following events, Ellis who was affected, sets Jean’s car on fire in a manic display of revenge.
Now the point is that this form of ultimate revenge could easily attract a nasty court case which could push Ellis out of his own company. This lack of mental health and acting out certainly gives birth to the possibility of a Unstable Season 2.
We all know that Jackson has a thing for Ruby, but despite their unsuccessful date Jackson starts to second-guess his feelings and ends up finding a newfound romance with Ruby’s best friend no less! All this, after a tender kiss.
In Unstable Season 2, we could expect to see the new pair’s feelings blossom and how this would impact Luna’s friendship with Ruby.
Other small points might work perfectly for the start of a new season – but we don’t have the official news on the second season.
