Pedro Pascal To Play Reed Richards In Fantastic Four.

So apparently the wait is finally over as we now know who is going to be the first Mr. Fantastic in the Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four. As per the reports from some sources, it is almost confirmed that The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal will be seen in the role of Reed Richards, however, the negotiations are still underway.

We still don’t know who will play the role of the other three fantastic – Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm. Recently, Napoleon actress Vanessa Kirby was rumored to be seen in the role of Sue Storm but again there is no confirmation on that, in fact, actor Mads Mikkelsen is also in talks for a role but no confirmation on that too.

The 48-year-old Chilean-American is one of the most popular actors these days and his amazing performance in recent years in series like Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and The Last of Us has won the hearts of fans around the world.

But it seems like Pascal’s popularity and acting didn’t have much influence on hardcore MCU fans, because they are not happy with him getting the role, although a huge chunk of fans are quite excited to see a fresh face in MCU, some of them expressed their disappointment on X (formerly Twitter).

The OG fans of The Fantastic Four said Ioan Gruffudd would have been a perfect fit for the role of Reed Richards, a user tweeted a funny video referring to Pedro Pascal snatching major roles from different Hollywood film franchises, a famous X page named DiscussingFilm expressed their disbelief in how Pascal would manage to shoot for The Last of Us Season 2, Gladiator 2 and Weapons along with his new project with MCU.
