Billie Eilish Says Her One Song Is Inspired By Olivia Rodrigo!

Published by

Billie Eilish said that her song “Goldwing” was influenced by Olivia Rodrigo, a 20-year-old Gen Z musician. During the writing process, Eilish felt protective of Olivia, who was 20 years younger than her.

The song, which appears on Billie’s second studio album, Happier Than Ever, received seven Grammy Award nominations. Olivia Rodrigo, who released her debut album Sour at the age of 17, is under pressure to write her follow-up, Guts.

Despite the success of “Drivers Licence,” Guts received the Grammy Award for Best Pop Single. Rodrigo worked with producer Dan Nigro to compose music that was heard on the radio but did not achieve commercial success.

Because Olivia came from a different background, Eilish was apprehensive and concerned about her achievement. She also talked about her affection for Ariana Greenblatt, who plays America Ferrera‘s daughter in Barbie.

Billie Eilish has confessed that she feels protective of Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Greenblatt, two promising young artists. The song “Goldwing” by Eilish is inspired by Olivia and their common experience of being famous at a young age. Billie Eilish highlights the disparities of being a female in public.

Despite receiving multiple Grammys and Oscars, Eilish keeps a quiet profile and believes she has her entire life ahead of her. She confesses that her adult life has kept her young and that she has lived to feel like she is in her 70s, but she has just recently realized that she doesn’t have to.

How Did Billie Eilish Get Fame?

Cosmopolitan

Billie Eilish rose to prominence after releasing her song “Ocean Eyes” on SoundCloud. She faced public criticism as her career progressed, exhibiting issues, a soft voice, and a distinct style with neon outfits and blue eyes.

Her distinct style and creepiness established her in the music industry. Eilish was questioned about her dating status, s*xuality, and clothing choices, all of which she turned down.

Eilish, who gained success with her hit “Bad Guy” in 2019, explored artistic projects outside of her comfort zone, such as gaining Oscar buzz for the “Barbie” original song “What Was I Made For?” and appearing in Prime Video’s horror irony series “Swarm.”

Her life is getting more full, and she is becoming increasingly drawn to women as people and for who they are. Despite her fear of their beauty and presence, Eilish is growing into a person she admires and achieving things she feels proud of.
