Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story will be available on Disney+ in less than two weeks, and we have an exciting teaser to pique your interest. Keanu Reeves describes his ‘fascination with racing’ in the teaser before declaring, ‘I’m going to tell a story that barely sounds true.’
Fortunately for us, that narrative isn’t The Matrix Resurrections, but that of Brawn GP, the £1 F1 team that came perilously near to disappearing off the grid before reappearing in 2009 with a championship-winning vehicle.
Hulu recently released the first trailer for Keanu Reeves’s new documentary series Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story!
Keanu Reeves will host Hulu’s upcoming documentary series, Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story, which will explore the extraordinary story of the Brawn GP team and how they won the Formula 1 championship season.
Reeves has done it all over his long and remarkable career, offering as a model of resilience, hard work, devotion, and humility. That makes him the ideal choice to narrate and host the latest three-part docuseries, Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story.
The series seeks to provide first-hand perspectives from various racing icons while highlighting the activity during the year, both on and off the track. More significantly, the documentary tries to demonstrate how an underdog team accomplished the unimaginable by winning the Grand Prix.
Christian Horner, the team manager for Red Bull Racing, is one of the celebrities Reeves mentions. In the clip, the Brit can be heard briefly discussing a subject he is well familiar with winning.
The documentary is centered around the F1 team Brawn GP, which Ross Brawn purchased for one British pound in 2009. Brawn GP won the constructors’ title and the drivers’ title in the same year, the team’s sole year of existence. It is clear from Reeves’ talk with Horner that ” everybody is a smiling assassin” in the top ranks within F1.
