The Crown Season 5 Creator Revealed Changing the Ending After Queen’s Death!

The Crown Season 5 is all set to be released next week on Netflix, and before its release creator of the series has revealed that there might be some changes in the ending of the series.

A new twist in the ending of “The Crown” Peter Morgan who has created the hit Netflix series “The Crown” revealed some facts about the show in which he stated that he actually changed the end scene of the series after the Queen’s death in season 5.

In an interview Morgan revealed that he had planned something different for the ending previously it was the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977. But after the Queen’s death in September 2022, he changed his mind which made him change the ending of the series to end it on a more effective note and message. To portray her a strong personality even more.

He further added “She is among important personnel of the British empire her death was also a major incident that had an adverse impact on the British royal family. I simply wanted to pay my regards and respect that I have for her through the series. That’s why it made me change the ending of season 5.

Although Morgan committed that he hasn’t decided yet how he will end the show he will surely consider scenes from the Queen’s life with a montage.

“I wanted to end the season as of sum up of Queen’s reign and power I thereby want to show Queen as a young lady in her young age time, as a mother, as a grandmother and not forgetting as a Queen basically I want to show each and every aspect of her life with all the best and worst situations that she faced”.

Moran said he is thinking of adding a funeral scene of the Queen in the end On this he said he just wants to show his respect towards her legacy that she had.

Morgan’s decision to change the end scene is quite controversial. As some will regard this as an act of disrespect to their queen with her death scenes as they are quite related to their queen emotionally. While there are others who may feel it appropriate to end the Queen’s season like this.

Let’s leave this to Morgan how he is going to end the series but it would be very emotional for everyone who is connected with their beloved Queen. He is taking time to think of the most suitable ending for the series aimed at paying respect to the Queen and not hurting anyone’s sentiments.
