Ijogbon 2023 Netflix Original Is Streaming Now on Netflix!

Another Kunle Afolayan Production – in collaboration with Netflix and this time it’s a culturally-adventurous story of Ijogbon.

As you know the Nigerian music industry is slowly picking up momentum – so too is the Nollywood film industry and how!

First, look at the movie Ijogbon.

All set to release on October 13, 2023 – Ijogbon movie is produced by KAP Motion Pictures and we can’t wait to see what Nollywood has in store for viewers across the globe.

Written by Tunde Babalola with Kunle Afolayan as the director as well as the producer, Ijobgon is a coming-of-age family adventure that takes place in a village in southwest Nigeria.

The film revolves around the story of four teenagers who find a bag full of diamonds – but wait! It may sound like a happy ending but it’s not because these overly smart teens end up concealing this newfound stash of ice – but they end up regretting it soon after.

This film not only interests and excites – but thanks to the robust cast of the renowned Nollywood actors Bimbo Manuel, Gabriel Afolayan, Sam Dede, Tana Adelana, Yemi Solade, and the likes of younger actors like Ruby Akubuez, Ojuolape Kayode, Fawaz and Oluwaseyi Ebiesuwa.

Taking A First Glimpse of the Movie.

The rich cultural backgrounds and beliefs of the state of Oyo, Nigeria is one of the most striking features of this movie as the aesthetics manage to capture the rich and cultural vista which turns out to be an excellent choice of location.

The Afolayan Brothers are also seasoned actors – given they have given award-winning titles like Anikulapo, The Figurine, Citation, Swallow, and much more!

The actors including Temi Otedola have done rather well in their previous works and Kunle Afolayan will surely do justice to Ijogbon. We have our fingers crossed!
