Are you ready for a tear-jerking drama by director Azazel Jacobs in his movie ‘His Three Daughters’?
Netflix is known for movie acquisitions and this one doesn’t come as a surprise as the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) premiered movie was picked up by the OTT platform after several ones being Old Dads, May December, and Fair Play (all of them are expected to debut before the end of the year). This marks Netflix’s fourth acquisition from TIFF.
What Is the Movie His Three Daughters About?
With a run time of approximately 1hr 42 minutes, His Three Daughters revolves around three estranged sisters and how they come together when their father’s health worsens and the trio has to prepare themselves for the inevitable.
The eldest daughter, Katie is a high-strung lady who talks a hundred miles a minute whilst stressing about the practicality of things. The middle daughter, Rachel has been dutiful for the past year taking care of her father – and finally being ready to ‘check out’.
The youngest sister, Christina is still the baby of the family – always on the verge of tears and trying her best -albeit clumsily – to keep the peace between the trio in their father’s small apartment.
