Eun Jung and Sang Yeon 2023 Netflix K-Drama Everything You Need to Know!

A new and enthralling K-Drama Eun Jung and Sang Yeon is on its way to Netflix featuring Little Women’s Go Eun, Love All Play’s Park Ji Hyun, and the Glory’s Kim Gun Woo.

Written and directed by the ‘The Smile Has Left Your Eyes’ screenwriter Song Hye Jin, Eun Jung, and Sang Yeon is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original drama series produced by the production company Kakoa Entertainment.

The drama series tells the story of a writer named Ryu Eun Jung who is rather dramatic at writing, and a successful filmmaker named Cheon Sang Yeon.

Both have undoubtedly been best friends since elementary school but ended their close friendship abruptly due to an unhappy incident and possible fallacy.

Years later in the current day Korea, these two highly talented individuals meet as adults once again. Will their friendship win? Or will the feud win? What will these two talented young women do about their history?

Who Are the Cast Members of the Show?

So far, we only know about the top three cast members – Kim Go Eun who plays the role of Rye Eun Jung, Park Ji Hyun, and Kim Gun Woo.

Viewers on Netflix might be familiar with Kim Go Eun’s work as she had previously worked in the internationally licensed drama series ‘Little Women’ as her portrayal of Oh in Joo. She also starred in the incredibly popular K-drama ‘Goblin’ and played the lead role of Ji Eun Tak.

Park Ji Jun’s previous works include her role in K-Drams like Love All Play, Do You Like Brahms, and Dear My Room – however, this will mark her first official Netflix debut.

Kim Gun Woo plays the lead role of Kim Sang Hak – we don’t know much about his character in the series and we’re certainly not giving spoilers yet!

But he certainly plays a significant role. The actor recently starred in both parts of The Glory in the role of Son Myeong Oh. His other works include Record of Youth and Live.

What’s the Production Status of the Series? When Will it be Released on Netflix?

The official production status is currently under pre-production since October 3rd – but there is no official confirmation of when the filming is due to begin. With that being said, we won’t be expecting to see the series on Netflix anytime before late 2024 at the very least.
