What can we anticipate from Season 2?

After Omni-Man’s deadly fight with Mark, it’s up to Invincible with the new Guardians of the Globe to safeguard the people of Earth (not to be mistaken with Urath). Season 1 of Invincible explores Mark’s coming-of-age adventure while revealing shocking details about his ancestry and his father’s actual character. Invincible Season 2 is going to follow Mark as he scrapes up the pieces. The second season will likely include more blood, guts, and high-flying action which made the first so gripping for many fans. Season 2 will, however, contain much more.

Kirkman, the creator of the show,  has stated that Invincible Season 2 will explore the notion of the multiverse but will be used to look into characters we already know through other perspectives. The story will also introduce Sterling K. Brown’s enemy, Angstrom Levy.

Mark Grayson (Steve Yeun in the show) is a typical teenager, except his demanding father, Nolan Grayson, also known as Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), is the most substantial superhero on Earth.

Mark manifests his father’s abilities after his seventeenth birthday when he is thrown into a series of challenging situations that will test his newly acquired powers and his late teenage years. Soon, he finds himself at the center of an enormous battle that threatens him and everyone he loves, but things become far more complicated when his father’s actual nature is exposed.
