Netflix has recently released the teaser of a four-part documentary series on the British pop star icon, Robbie Williams (internal scream for effect).

Directed by Joe Pearlman, this documentary takes us on a raw journey of the singer’s extensive career spanning over 30 years – starting from his time as a member of Take That to his rise as one of the most celebrated male singers of all time!

‘Robbie Williams’ is an upcoming four-part docuseries centering around the British pop singer’s early life and subsequent career.

He has been considered as one of the most iconic and even controversial British artists and interestingly, the recipient of 18 Brit Awards (including Best British Male Artist four times all together!)

Talking about Williams’ solo career, thirteen out of fourteen studio albums have managed to reach number one in the UK – with 6 of them being listed among the 100 best-selling albums in the country. How impressive is that?

In the four-part docuseries, the production team has had a ton load of time to get intimate behind-the-scenes footage from Williams. In fact, the British icon opened up about the ‘detrimental side’ of fame in the docuseries.

He talks about the challenges and downsides that are an added bonus with a lot of fame. Although Robbie Williams has had an eventful career of 33 years in the music industry, he does not shy away from offering an in-depth glimpse into both the upswings and downswings of fame, money, and celebrated success.

In the 36-second teaser, Williams talks about his time in the spotlight “The thing that would destroy me has also made me successful”, he mentions in the teaser.

“Touch the fire. Touch the button, push when it says pull” – Robbie Williams urges his viewers as we see him in a stadium surrounded by thousands and thousands of fans across the globe.
