Blue Eye Samurai Official Teaser Breakdown!

Published by

The first teaser for Netflix’s next big original, Blue Eye Samurai, has been released. Netflix gave a first look at Blue Eye Samurai, an original new series from Michael Green (A Haunting in Venice), during its animation-focused “Drop 01” livestream event.

While the novel is entrenched in history, its themes reflect present sensibilities, resulting in a story that smoothly covers two periods.

In the following sections, we will dig further into the complexities of Blue Eye Samurai. We reveal the factors that make this show a much-anticipated show, from the hands that created it to the voices who bring it to life and the visual delights in store.

Blue Eye Samurai | Official Teaser

The series Blue Eye Samurai’ teaser revealed that it is a must-see for fans of manga, animation, gorgeous visuals, or just the cinematic style overall. The plot revolves around a mixed-race sword expert who goes out to avenge her mother’s death in ancient Japan.

Blue Eye Samurai’s trailer shows a traditional Japanese vengeance story in which the lead character spends years preparing to become the greatest at their skill.

Mizu’s situation is more difficult because she deals with an intensely s*xist culture of samurais during the Edo period. So she’ll have to deal with prejudice, s*xism, and several skilled enemies – she manages to split one clean in half, so it’s safe to assume that she will fight hard.

Blue Eye Samurai’s aesthetics are undoubtedly appealing on their own. The anime series looks magnificent in every frame, with huge buildings packed with details, a smooth animation frame rate, a great combination of 2D and 3D styles, picture-perfect filming, and landscapes that will make you want to stop and take a closer look.

Blue Eye Samurai is described as “unapologetically adults-only…ranging in style from tragic to poetic to savage and occasionally erotic.”

Aside from the murder, the show appears to showcase corrupt rulers and nobles, as well as sleazy people traffickers, all of which are familiar sights for someone on a revenge binge.

While the first half of the season shows her having acts of kindness and compassion backfire on her, the second half shows “that maybe being vulnerable is good and pays its dividends.”
