Castlevania: Nocturne First 7 Minutes Released By Netflix!

The latest Castlevania: Nocturne trailer shows the 7-minute opening scene from the anime spinoff’s first episode.

With less than 24 hours until Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde’s Castlevania: Nocturne hits your screens, Netflix realized we would need more than a teaser, a behind-the-scenes video, or some preview photographs to keep us entertained.

Fortunately, the streamer’s DROP 01 event celebrated Netflix’s greatest animation on the way.

A Sneak Peek of Castlevania: Nocturne Reveals Richter Beolmont’s Tragic Origin Story! The 7-minute film revealed the young hero’s terrible backstory, including how he had to watch helplessly as his mother, a vampire hunter, died.

If the teasers and a new look at the opening seven minutes of the program are any indication, Netflix’s series will also dive deeply into Richter himself and the grief inside his mind after witnessing his mother’s death.

It also opens Richter to Olrox, a formidable ancient vampire with a particular hatred against his mother.

As a prominent vampire-hunting clan descendant, Richter must carry on his family’s tradition while protecting humanity from evil.

After Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, & Alucard fought Dracula and Death in the original series, a new threat appears in the Vampire Messiah, wanting young Richter, the last of the Belmont dynasty, to leap into action.

The series, set in the French Revolution, would see him ascend to lead the rebellion to defeat vampires at the request of Annette, a powerful Caribbean sorceress.

Should Richter and the others fail, the Vampire Messiah intends to devour the sun, joining forces with the desperate elites to grind the opposition into dust & enslave all of humanity.

The dark drama is backed by stunning action and visuals from Powerhouse Animation Studios, which has quietly established an unparalleled standard for adult animated series.
