After three running seasons, Call Me Kat has been unfortunately canceled. Fox decided not to renew the show in May 2023 and the popular network stated that the reason for such cancellation was due to the low ratings and reviews.

Mayim Bialik, played the character of Kat, a 39-year-old owner of a cat-themed café whereas Cheyenne Jackson, Kyle Pratt, Julian Grant, and Swoosie Kurtz appeared in the series.

All of those feline fans who loved the show – were rather surprised to know about the cancellation – especially more so since the season was renewed only recently for a third season!

Unfortunately for the show, the TRP ratings became substantially low and Fox finally decided not to renew the show.

After airing 3 seasons and 53 episodes in total, Fox issued a statement in May 2023 that read, “We are very proud of Call Me Kat, but, unfortunately, the audience response to it was not as strong as we had hoped.

We are thankful for our partnership with Warner Bros. Television, That’s Wonderful Productions, Sad Clown Productions, BBC Studios, Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons, and the entire cast and crew for their work and dedication to Call Me Kat.”

Towards the end of the third season of Call Me Kat, the titular character Kat Silver finds out about some significant changes that were made to her café by Phil and Randi (played by the Late Leslie Jordan, and Kyla Pratt), and the story continues for 22 episodes from there on.
