Netflix’s new and upcoming romance, ‘Love at First Sight’ might just be the OTT platform’s best story yet since the 2018 rom-com! But you know what has to be an Ace for all love stories to be top-class?

You said that right – there needs to be a definite chemistry and we can say for sure that the greatest romantic movies like The Notebook, may be a little cringe for some – but the chemistry, plotline, and acting certainly blew our minds!

We can safely say that the two leads of ‘Love at First Sight’, Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy have plenty of chemistry to make it a steamy, romantic affair!

Love At First Sight Release Date

Directed by Vanessa Caswill, this new Netflix movie which hits OTT platforms on September 15th, is an adaptation of the 2011 novel, ‘The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight’ by Jennifer Smith.

We can expect great things from this movie especially since the setup is aesthetically pleasing and simple – Hadley (Richardson) has a meet-cute with a British lad named Oliver (Hardy) on the flight from NYC to London, of all places!

The unlikely meet-cute lasts for six hours, and in this period of flying over 30,000 feet – the duo falls in love!

The idea is simple – the art of seduction lies in the hands of both Richardson (winner of the SAG award for The White Lotus) and Hardy (best known for his role in EastEnders).

This doesn’t seem like a difficult task from what we’ve seen – as Richardson brings her usual understated and down-to-earth charm which is undermined by her shy but flirtatious glances at Hardy’s character, Oliver, which makes the inevitable story irresistible.

Hardy, on the other hand, is all smiles with a sheepish but adorable tint – as he quite enjoys the flirting since he too maintains eye contact.

‘Love at first sight’ has left us with great expectations for the hopeless romantics in us! Take your partner for a movie date with this flick and enjoy cozying up!
