The upcoming British comedy TV series Still Up was created by Natalie Walter and Steve Burge. The plot follows a free-standing illustrator named Lisa and a socially anxious journalist named Danny as they form a late-night relationship due to their insomnia talking and being connected for hours while the world sleeps.

The series was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Comedy Series and Waller-Bridge winning for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. It ran from July 21, 2016, to April 8, 2019.

The plot revolves around a recently widowed grief-maddened man named Tony Johnson who alters from a nice guy into someone who does not care about himself or others and goes on punishing the world as a means of dealing with the grief.
