The Killer, a David Fincher-helmed action thriller starring Michael Fassbender, has unveiled its first poster.
We’re now receiving more details on The Killer, and we’re relieved that this Netflix film is getting back on track after a lengthy break.
The Killer is an action film directed by Mank David Fincher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker. This isn’t Fincher and Walker’s first time working together.
They previously collaborated on the ’90s picture Seven. If their work on Seven is any indication, The Killer will be a must-see. The film is based on the French graphic novel “The Killer” by Alexis Nolent.
The latest poster for the film, starring Fassbender, has been released before its Venice debut. Fassbender appears in the poster sporting a peculiar-rimmed hat, a Hawaiian shirt, and a blazer, looking at his character’s appearance.
According to the character description for Fassbender’s part, he will portray a hitman who begins to emotionally break as he develops a conscience, even though his clients continue to want his services.

Mark your calendar and make room in your schedule, as The Killer will be available on Netflix on Friday, November 10, 2023.
The action thriller will be released on November 10 at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. The film will also be released in limited theatres in October.

The Killer is intended to follow the original material as a solitary, cold, meticulous individual with no scruples and regrets.
The more he waits in the shadows, looking for his next target, the more he suspects he’s losing his sanity, if not his calm.
The Killer is a “brutal, savage, and exquisite noir thriller of an experienced assassin stuck in a world devoid of moral compass,” is a case study of “a man alone, loaded to the teeth, who’s gradually losing his mind.”
Which is the ideal story for Fincher and Fassbender to adapt for the big screen.
Netflix has issued the official logline for the film,
Following a fatal near-miss, an assassin confronts his employers and himself on a worldwide search that he says isn’t personal.
The film’s exciting tagline contends that the assassin’s obsessive quest is motivated by nothing personal, which gives the story an ambiguous layer.
