Top Boy Season 3 Trailer Is An Emotional Dawn!

Published by

The trailer for Top Boy Season 3, which premieres on Netflix next month, reveals the conclusion of the line for Dushane and Sully.

Top Boy, Netflix’s award-winning British drama series, is returning for its final season. After confirming the return earlier this year, Netflix released the first official teaser for Top Boy season 3.

The two-minute movie is an emotional wake-up call for the show’s remaining ensemble, who had seen numerous characters killed in the previous two seasons.

Top Boy Season 3 Official Trailer

The new trailer hints that there will be no loose ends, and after much fan speculation about whether or not Jamie (Michael Ward) is indeed dead, it appears that the main cast will be dealing with that unfortunate fact – and may very well be wanting revenge on Sully (Kane Robinson).

The trailer begins with a montage of earlier season moments, including some of the former Top Boy actors, such as Michaela Coel, Letitia Wright, and Malcolm Kamulete.

However, in the teaser, we see Jamie’s younger sibling Stefan (Araloyin Oshunremi) putting on Jamie’s chain – might this suggest that the teenager will take over the role of his elder brother?

In the trailer, we show individuals rioting against the police and a police car being set on fire, along with Jaq (Jasmine Jobson) saying, “There ain’t no coming back from this one.”

If the actions of Dushane (Ashley Walters) and co. arming themselves with bulletproof vests and firearms indicates that the upcoming season will feature some heated confrontations. But, with Dushane declaring his allegiance, will he continue at Sully’s side, or will the pair’s main rivalry be against one other?

The release date for the awaited final season is also announced after the trailer, with the new series debuting on Thursday, 7th September 2023.

The official season summary states, “Sully’s actions at the end of the previous series have changed his business rules with Dushane.” As new common issues emerge, forces both outside and within their kingdom threaten everything they’ve achieved.

Can they coexist in a world that is transforming before their eyes while adhering to the rules of the road they’ve known their entire lives? “Can only one Top Boy exist?”
