FAIR PLAY Official Trailer Breakdown!

What began as a hot office romance quickly turned into a nasty rivalry. Fair Play is a new film about the ever-changing worlds of sex, money, and competitive career choices.

In her feature debut, Chloe Domont tackles the subtle inner workings of handling romantic connections in the workplace.

Like the romantic affairs in the Netflix series, this film illustrates the disproportional feeling of one’s worth in a highly competitive professional setting.

Fair Play Official Trailer

In the latest trailer for Netflix’s corporate film Fair Play, Alden Ehrenreich and Phoebe Dynevor play a young distressed couple.

Fair Play is set in New York City and follows the lives of two people who work at the same hedge-fund business and are involved in a tangled relationship.

Shortly after their engagement, one receives a surprising promotion, substantially changing the nature of their relationship. Having an intimate relationship with a coworker is typically frowned upon, but “life, uh… finds a way.”

When it comes to sharing finances within a partnership, power shifts are often accompanied by tense talks and uncertainty about who is giving the most.

Things become even more complicated when gender roles impact the characters’ feelings as they react to this promotion, in which it has been extensively indicated that Emily receives a promotion that positions her higher on the corporate “totem pole” than her new fiancé, Luke.

It’s no accident that green is frequently connected with money and jealousy. Movies about Wall Street often touch on the biblical ‘Seven Deadly Sins,’ with apparent instances of greed, lust, pride, envy, and wrath.

The following is the official summary from Netflix Media Centre:

When a sought promotion at a competitive financial corporation becomes available, supportive interaction between fiancée Emily (Phoebe Dynevor) & Luke (Alden Ehrenreich) becomes menacing.

As their relationship’s power dynamics irreversibly change, the pair must confront the actual cost of achievement and the unsettling boundaries of ambition.
