Nia DaCosta has directed the upcoming American superhero movie ‘The Marvels’ which serves as a sequel to the 2019 movie Captain Marvel’ and is a continuation of the 2022 tv miniseries ‘Ms. Marvel’. The film is set to be the thirty-third movie of MCU.
The plot primarily focuses on astronaut Rambeau with the power of manipulating light, Ms. Marvel, and Captain Marvel swapping places while trying to use their respective power.
Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, and Brie Larson are seen in the roles of Rambeau, Ms. Marvel, and Captain Marvel respectively in the movie. It is scheduled to be released as part of MCU’s Phase Five on November 10, 2023.
