Matt Damon and Other Cast Spotted At Oppenheimer Premiere!

Matt Damon with Emily Blunt and more actors walked out of the premiere to join the strike going on in Hollywood.

There are a lot of things that happened in the entertainment industry which is totally out of any expectation. Whether it is related to producing the best film or the series or the worst of it.

Whether it is about the fashion statement of a certain celebrity or some professional decision of these people, everything comes in the front. The same happens with the premiere of the series as well as the opening of the casting.

The same recently happened with the premiere of Oppenheimer. The upcoming movie called Oppenheimer is about to release and that’s the reason why we can see back to back premiere of this movie.

It is one of the most anticipated movies that is coming with a great cast like that of Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt, and Robert Downey Junior.

They all were seen walking out of the London premiere that happened on Thursday and there was one reason behind it.

Matt Damon With Emily Blunt And Other Cast Members Of Oppenheimer Walked Off Premiere Amid Strike!

Matt Damon with Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt were initially seen taking the red carpet event but left it when the news related to this strike came front.

It all happened with the president of SAG that is, Fran Drescher who gave an impression speech and announced the official strike of the actors. It was Christopher Nolan who was addressing the audience inside the theatre when the cast started to shuffle.

Christopher Nolan said about acknowledging the actors who came earlier on the red carpet. But unfortunately, because of this strike, they are going to leave and join these strikes in the struggle for fair wages for the working members of the union.

The Writers Guild of America is right now on strike but it’s been more than months since they started back in May 2023.

Emily Blunt who just came out of her wardrobe malfunction, with other cast members was ready to leave.

“I think right now we are just sort of — I hope everyone makes a fair deal and we are here to celebrate this movie. And if they call [a strike], we’ll be leaving together as cast in unity with everyone. We are gonna have to. We are gonna have to. We will see what happens. Right now it’s the joy to be together” Emily Blunt

SGA AFTRA had a Press Conference in Los Angeles almost at the same time as the London premiere of the movie.

According to the press, it was announced that the strike is moving after the negotiation to work out a new contract of 3 years that failed.

And due to the same reason, they are being victimized by a very greedy entity and still very much shocked. They called it disgusting as it is taking the wrong side of history at this moment.
