The latest installment of The Conjuring Universe The Nun II is on its way to theaters, and horror fans can’t wait to discover what dread the demon Valak has in mind for the next.
The Nun II, part of horror superstar James Wan’s dark universe, has been long anticipated, and five years after the debut of the original The Nun, people are anxious to know where the devil will haunt next.
At the end of the first Nun film, it was revealed that Maurice, also known as “Frenchie,” had been possessed by the demon Valak.
The video of Maurice’s exorcism was displayed at Ed and Lorraine Warren’s subsequent seminars twenty years later. It was also during the exorcism that Lorraine had terrifying visions of Ed’s death.
Fans are interested to see how much of Maurice’s narrative will be presented in this next chapter of The Conjurverse and whether Maurice’s exorcism will bring together the characters of The Conjuring and The Nun.

The Nun II Official Trailer: A French Boarding School Is Haunted By Valak In The Conjuring Universe Sequel!
The teaser promises another terrifying adventure after the evil nun, Valak, reappears to frighten the innocent kids at a French boarding school.
Sister Irene must face down the entity after it returns from inside Frenchie, where it was assumed to have taken sanctuary after the previous movie when it was considered defeated.
The 2-minute 18 seconds long teaser trailer for The Nun 2 suggests that the much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 film would provide movie fans with an upgraded horror experience.
The trailer, which opens in 1956, features a girl who sees the unexplained murder of a priest. ‘Something doesn’t feel right,’ the girl thinks as she watches the hideous incident.
We’ll meet up with Sister Irene in the horror sequel, who now resides in an Italian convent following the previous movie’s events. But, as the teaser indicates, Valak is just a little behind.
Irene is forced to travel to France when the priest gets killed and something evil spreads, and she may be the only one capable of stopping it.
“This demon was once an angel that God rejected,” says an old priest, who speaks openly about the supernatural energy there.
The teaser teased several unique horrors in the upcoming movie, including a terrifying wall of magazines that flips up to show Valak’s image on many pages.
Later, there are visuals of some extremely frightening instances, highlighted by a haunting background soundtrack and stunning visualization.

Cast of The Nun II
Taissa Farmiga will return as Sister Irene. Taissa Farmiga is Vera Farmiga’s younger sister, who plays Lorraine Warren in the Conjuring franchise.
Jonas Bloquet was announced to return as French delivery guy Maurice, popularly known as Frenchie.
Marcella, a new character rumored to be a schoolteacher at St. Mary’s School in France, will be played by Anna Popplewell.
Sophie, the daughter of Popplewell’s schoolteacher role, will be played by young actress Katelyn Rose Downey.
Storm Reid is expected to feature as a fellow Nun-in-training who lends a touch of funk to the dark plot. Reid is known for playing Meg in the 2018 Disney picture A Wrinkle in Time.
The Nun 2, produced by Warner Bros, will be released in cinemas on September 8, 2023.
