The Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime and live-action movie debuts this Summer, and Netflix has released a new look at the Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead movie with its first complete teaser! 

Zom 100: Bucket List Of The Dead, a live-action film version of Haro Aso’s horror-comedy manga, will be released exclusively on Netflix in August 2023.

Alita Tendo (Eiji Akaso) works in a hostile workplace where he gets used to the dreaded late shift. This is in addition to other similar problems like having a lousy boss and completing jobs that need clarification.

In his present state, some may call him a zombie. However, when the actual zombie apocalypse occurs at random in the morning, and the class structure is shattered, Alita is relieved that he no longer has to go to work.

He takes on the glass-half-full approach, listing 100 things he wishes to do before becoming a zombie.

The trailer shows Alita enjoying his best life while completing his list, avoiding becoming a zombie, and meeting some colorful fellow survivors along the road.

If you’re human, you’ve probably thought about what you’d do in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

Some might consider themselves doomsday planners, while others would be bitten immediately to get it over with. However, what sets Zom 100 apart from the rest of the zombie horde is that it embraces the weird pleasure that can be had in this dreadful scenario.

Working stinks, and for a young adult like Alita, anything would be preferable to the repeatedly miserable grind of it.

Even the apocalypse of the zombies. Whether going to a bar, camping on his balcony, or clearing his room, Alita is making the most of his newfound freedom before becoming a member of the undead himself.

While there have been many brilliant zombie films over the years, such as The Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and The Last Man on Earth, Zom 100 appears to be following in the footsteps of Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead by simply having an endless amount of youthful fun with the tired concept. It will intrigue genre lovers to see what this horror comedy delivers to the blood-soaked table.

How many Zom 100 Bucket List Of The Dead movies can we expect?

At the moment of writing, there are ten published Zom 100 Bucket List Of The Dead manga volumes, with an 11th set to be released in Japan on June 17th, 2022. The seventh volume of the manga’s English translation will be released on August 3rd, 2023.
