When Is Science Fiction Movie Dune: Part Two Releasing?

Denis Villeneuve has directed the upcoming American epic science fiction movie ‘Dune: Part Two’ which is the sequel part of the 2021 movie ‘Dune’. This upcoming part will find Paul Atreides uniting the Fremen people of Arrakis against House Harkonnen.

When Is ‘Dune: Part Two’ Releasing?

The sequel part was officially green-lit by Legendary on October 26, 2021. Filming of the movie ran from July 18, 2022, to December 12, 2022. Dune Part Two is set to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures on November 3, 2023.

Timothée Chalamet-

The Duke of House Atreides- Paul Atreides was portrayed by Academy Award nominee American and French actor Timothée Chalamet in the first Dune movie.

Chalamet will expectedly reprise this role in the second part too. The twenty-seven years old actor’s feature film debut is the 2014 comedy-drama movie ‘Men, Women & Children’ in which he played the role of Danny Vance.

Zendaya-

The role of young Freman woman Chani, Paul’s love interest, in the upcoming movie will be reprised by American singer, actress Zendaya from the previous movie.

This critically acclaimed actress portrayed MJ in the Spider-Man movies ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming‘, ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home‘, and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ from 2017 to 2021.

In 2017 she was cast in the role of Anne Wheeler in the biographical musical drama movie ‘The Greatest Showman’. Co-starring with John David Washington, Zendaya was cast in the black-and-white romantic drama movie ‘Malcolm & Marie’ in 2021 while also serving as executive producer.

She is also set to star in the role of Tashi Donaldson in the romantic sports comedy-drama movie ‘Challengers’ in 2023.

Rebecca Ferguson-

The role of Lady Jessica will be reprised by Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson in the upcoming movie.

Her previous film credits include ‘Drowning Ghost’, ‘Hercules‘, ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’, ‘Despite the Falling Snow’, ‘Florence Foster Jenkins’, ‘The Girl on the Train’, ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Life’, ‘The Snowman’, ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’, ‘Doctor Sleep’, ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’, ‘Men in Black: International’, and ‘Reminiscence’. Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin will reprise his role of Gurney Halleck in the sequel part of ‘Dune’.

He gained the Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Dan White in the biographical movie ‘Milk’ under the category of Best Supporting Actor.

The role of Emperor Shaddam IV will be portrayed by Academy Award-winning American actor Christopher Walken in the upcoming movie. He won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Corporal Nikanor Chevotarevich in the epic war drama movie ‘The Deer Hunter‘.

In the biographical crime comedy-drama movie ‘Catch Me If You Can’, Walken played the role of Frank Abagnale Sr. for which he was nominated for another Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor.
