The 4th and final season of popular Netflix’s coming-of-age comedy-drama series ‘Never Have I Ever’ is arriving in June. Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling have created this series the plot of which is inspired by Kaling’s experiences from her childhood in Boston.
Fifteen years old Indian-American Tamil girl Devi Vishwakumar is navigating high school life in Los Angeles. But everything is not so dreamy and romantic for her as the sudden death of her father causes her to suffer from physical and psychological trauma.
While dealing with that, Devi also finds herself trying to fit into the social life of the high school. With the help of her friends, she begins experiencing love, friendship, s*x, etc.

Never Have I Ever Season 4 Released on Netflix.
The series was first announced on March 20, 2019. Its first season got released on April 27, 2020, on Netflix. The previous seasons consisted of ten episodes each. Season 3 arrived on August 12, 2022.
The official trailer of the Never Have I Ever Season 4 which will also have ten episodes, was released by Netflix on YouTube on 9th May this year. It is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2023.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan-
Playing Devi Vishwakumar, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan will obviously be back for the last season.
The character of Devi has been liked and loved by most viewers as despite messing up a number of times and not being a perfect heroine, she appeals to young adult and teenage viewers for being extremely relatable.
Her character is based on the show’s co-creator Mindy Kaling. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is a Canadian actress who got her big break in the role of Devi in ‘Never Have I Ever’.
In 2022 she was cast as a voice actress for the role of Priya Mangal in the computer-animated fantasy comedy movie ‘Turning Red‘.
Ramakrishnan was also voice cast in ‘My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale‘, ‘My Little Pony: Make Your Mark’, ‘My Little Pony: Make Your Mark’, ‘My Little Pony: Winter Wishday’, and ‘My Little Pony: Birdlewoodstoock’. She is set to play Lizzie Bennet in the upcoming movie ‘The Netherfield Girls’.
Darren Barnet-
Paxton is back. Despite deciding to go to Arizona State University from where he was offered a spot at the end of season three, the Season 4 trailer confirms that Paxton is back to be the inevitable part of a perfect ending.
The handsome and popular student was Devi’s crush from the very beginning. After crossing a number of roads full of ups and downs, their fates are at the hand of the co-creators now whose answers can only be found in the final season.
American actor Darren Barnet portrays Paxton in the series. He also starred in the films ‘American Pie‘, Presents: Girls’ Rules’, ‘Untitled Horror Movie’, and ‘Love Hard’. He has four upcoming films in the queue- ‘Gran Turismo’, ‘Anyone But You’, ‘Road House’, and ‘Apophenia’.
Jaren Lewison-
Ben, who was once Devi’s nemesis, will be more important than ever in the final season. The reason is Devi and Ben’s having s*x at the end of the last season.
American actor Jaren Lewison plays the role of Ben in the series. He previously appeared in the films ‘Beyond the Farthest Star‘ and ‘Tag’.
Poorna Jagannathan-
The role of Devi’s mother Dr. Nalini Vishwakumar, with whom Devi gradually builds a deep and mature relationship through many hardships and misunderstandings, will be reprised by the American producer and actress of Indian descent- Poorna Jagannathan. She previously starred in the series ‘The Night Of‘ and ‘Gypsy’.
Richa Moorjani-
Devi’s cousin Kamala Nandiwadal who is pursuing Ph.D. at Caltech while staying with Devi and her family is played by American actress Richa Moorjani and will reprise the role in the final season. She starred in the Indian collaborative feature film ‘X: Past Is Present in 2015.
Ramona Young-
One of Devi’s best friends Eleanor who is passionate about acting is portrayed by American actress Ramona Young.
She previously starred as the main character in ‘Z Nation from the third to fifth seasons, in season four of ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘ and as a recurring character in season two of ‘The Real O’Neals’, in ‘Santa Clarita Diet’ from season one to three, and in season five of ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.
Lee Rodriguez-
Fabiola, who is Devi’s other best friend and is often seen struggling with her s*xuality, is played by American actress Lee Rodriguez in the series. She previously starred in the series ‘Class of Lies as a recurring character.
Michael Cimino-
American actor Michael Cimino has joined the cast of ‘Never Have I Ever’ in the fourth and final season.
He will play the role of a fellow student Ethan. He portrayed Victor Salazar in the teen comedy-drama series ‘Love, Victor from 2020 to 2022.
