In Joe Pickett Season 2 Episode 2, everything starts to go down for Joe. As he fights the Brothers Grimm, his race to escape the woods ends, but at what cost?

Joe comes to the woods. He observes the Grimm brothers eating an animal’s heart as he attempts to get back on his feet. Joe’s presence is caught by the brothers’ enhanced sense of smell.

There is a gunfight, and Joe shoots one of the brothers in the face. The group comes together and realizes they must kill him, or others will go after them.

Joe falls into a cabin, where a mystery woman offers him a drink to relieve his pain.

Who does Marybeth ask for help in finding Joe?

Marybeth informs everyone in town that Joe has gone missing, but no one is ready to assist. Finally, she gets Sheriff Barnum on a call, who agrees to send Deputy McLanahan out in the morning to seek Joe and Frank.

She also calls Deputy Cricket to her home at 3 a.m. to ask whether she may contact Nate to locate Joe.

Who gets Joe out of the woods?

Following a big gunfight at the cabin he was in, Joe fights to escape without being shot. After wandering through the woods, he sees a body hanging from a tree but then passes out.

He wakes up by being dragged through the woods, and Nate Romanowski saves him as he looks up.

Nate sneaks into Cricket’s house to surprise her, but she is irritated since he hasn’t contacted her in any way. Despite her desire for him to stay, she says she recently received a work promotion and should not harbor a fugitive.

Is Frank still alive?

Joe responds to the Sheriff’s questions about what occurred in the woods with the brothers. He asks Sheriff Barnum if the body discovered in the woods was Frank’s, and he verifies that Frank was last seen wearing the clothing that was recovered close to the headless body.

The sheriffs are unable to locate anything in the woods that Joe stated. Deputy McLanahan doubts Joe’s say, suggesting that they instead focus on the individual who murdered Frank.

When the Sheriff calls to inform them that the search has been called off, Joe freaks out and breaks out of the hospital to go to the search site himself.

Will Joe be able to save the day?

Sheriff Bud Barnum directs Deputy McLanahan to stop Joe from entering the crime scene. Joe continues by asking about the cause for Sheriff Bud’s suspension of the search.

Following a heated argument, the Sheriff instructs him to return home and rest. A poker chip with a deer emblem falls out of Frank’s grip as his corpse is brought down.

The camera pans to reveal a sniper in the distance, staring through their scope amidst the chaos of the crime scene while our protagonist examines the chip.
