The long-awaited worldwide sequel to Bird Box, Bird Box Barcelona will be released in July 2023.
Bird Box was Netflix’s biggest hit, based on a Josh Malerman novel of the same name. The post-apocalyptic thriller, which stars Sandra Bullock, centers on a lady named Malorie who must travel in danger with her two children, Boy and Girl, in a society where glancing at an unknown object leads people to commit themselves.
Bird Box Barcelona, dubbed an “expansion” of the first film, will focus on a different set of survivors. The franchise is out of America since it emphasizes the turmoil in Europe as invisible entities control people’s visions and drive victims to commit suicide voluntarily.
When will Bird Box Barcelona be Available?
A release date was also included in Netflix’s unexpected announcement, and Bird Box Barcelona will debut exclusively on the service on July 14, 2023.

What to Expect in Bird Box Barcelona?
Bird Box Barcelona is slated to plunge viewers again into the unseen apocalypse. The imagery from Bird Box, featuring a woman hitting her head against a door and the return of the improvised blindfolds, is reflected in Bird Box Barcelona.
Sebastian must make his way through the barren streets of Barcelona on his survival quest after an unknown entity decimates the world’s inhabitants.
An unforeseen and even more frightening threat emerges as he develops shaky relationships with other survivors, and they attempt to flee the city.

Who will be in the forthcoming film Bird Box Barcelona as cast members?
None of Bird Box’s original cast members will appear in the sequel. Bullock won’t be in the spinoff, but in most situations, that wouldn’t be feasible because most characters died after the first movie.

With an exciting teaser video, Netflix has announced the release date for Bird Box Barcelona, a new Bird Box film.
The Spanish film, which is more of a spinoff than a straight sequel to Netflix’s 2018 smash Bird Box, will make its Netflix debut on July 14.
